Mint Brownies

Add green or pink frosting to make the
 perfect baby or wedding shower dessert
Mint Brownies
1 1/2 c. flour
2 c. suagr
2/3 c. cocca
1 tsp salt
1 c butter
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup nuts optional
MIx
Sugar, Cocoa, soft butter, eggs and vanilla. Add flour, salt mix well. Pour onto sheet cake pan, bake 350 for 15-20 mins. let cool completely.


Mint layer
1 envelope unflavored gelatin dissolved in 1/4 c boiling water (cool)
1 can vanilla frosting
1/4 tsp peppermint extract
food coloring (green or pink)
Mix: spread on cooled brownies

Chocolate glaze:
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 tsp butter;melt on 50% power in microwave 1-2 mins stirring occasionally, Remove and smooth. Drizzle over in horizontal line. Draw through chocolate with toothpick, carefully going in the opposite direction

** Completely cool before cutting. This will give sharp edges and a bakery look.
Serve chilled.

  3. And now a mark for me, seriously my favorite ice cream is the mint chocolate chip and now this will fit nicely into my lists of treats to make! :)
